  Each cover is CNC machined from high-quality 6061 billet aluminum, offering superior strength and reliability. The innovative two-piece design allows for easy access to the timing gear and cylinder head removal. This modular design also accommodates engines with reduced head and deck heights, while the interface between the upper and lower covers is sealed with an O-ring gasket set in a precisely machined groove, ensuring a secure and leak-free fit.

  
  

  The Skunk2 Timing Chain Cover is equipped with an oversized access door for convenient timing chain tensioner access. An integrated chain-guide prevents the timing chain from jumping teeth or losing its index position when the cams or cylinder head are removed. Additionally, this cover is 14% (10oz) lighter than the OEM timing cover, giving you a weight-saving advantage without compromising strength or function.
